President Bola Tinubu has emphasized the need to transform the country’s health sector by addressing longstanding challenges that hinder effective healthcare delivery.
Represented by the secretary to the government of the federation sen. George Akume stated at the National Stakeholders Dialogue on Power in the Health Sector held at Ladi Kwali Hall, Continental Hotel, Abuja, held on Tuesday, he emphasized that no Nigerian should die due to power interruptions in medical facilities.
He stressed the urgent need to address power supply crises in tertiary hospitals and public health institutions, which compromise safety, interrupt care, and cost lives.
Tinubu also emphasized the importance of innovative solutions to tackle these persistent problems and assured the private sector that Nigeria is open for business in health, energy, and infrastructure, creating an enabling environment for return on investment.
