Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, launched an awareness campaign titled “End Polio Now,” organized by Rotary International in partnership with the Niger State Ministry of Primary Health, at the Senator Ibrahim Idris Kuta Level 2 Primary Healthcare Center in Minna.
Governor Bago administered the polio vaccine to a child and emphasized his commitment to eradicating polio in the State, promising to provide necessary resources to Primary Health Care Centers.
District Governor of Rotary District 9126, Funkeakpo Ken Batife, commended Bago’s dedication and highlighted the importance of involving governors in promoting the authenticity of polio vaccines, coinciding with World Polio Day.
He urged parents to ensure their children receive vaccinations at available healthcare centers.
