Vice President Kashim Shettima is leading Nigeria’s delegation to the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, from January 19 to 23, 2026.
His arrival follows a visit to Guinea for President Mamadi Doumbouya’s inauguration.
In Switzerland, he was received by key Nigerian officials.
This year’s forum will address global economic challenges, technological innovation, and climate action.
Notably, Nigeria has established a dedicated pavilion, “Nigeria House Davos,” through a Public-Private Partnership, which will facilitate ministerial engagements and investment discussions, and the Vice President is set to commission the facility during his visit.
