Operation Fansan Yamma (OPFY) troops have rescued nine kidnap victims in Sokoto State and neutralized several terrorists during an ambush in Zamfara State.
The operation followed intelligence on terrorist movements along the Isa–Shinkafi–Kaura Namoda Road.
The victims, including three adult women and six children, were evacuated to the General Hospital in Shinkafi for medical treatment.
The recovered items included an AK-47 rifle, motorcycle, mobile phones, and camouflage uniforms.
