Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his prompt response to reconstruct the Babban Rami bridge in Mashegu Local Government Area.
Bago visited the community to sympathize with the people over the recent flood that led to the bridge’s collapse.
Tinubu directed the Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, to begin the reconstruction, and work has commenced.
He called on the community to cooperate with contractors and announced that the Kontagora-Babban Rami-Makera road construction will soon begin.
Bago also urged the community to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming local government elections for more democracy dividends.
