Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has emphasized his commitment to promoting effective representation in the state. He held a special interactive session with stakeholders in the Niger North Senatorial District, aiming to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) and ensure unity. Bago outlined ongoing projects in the district and promised more funding for rapid development. He called on elected leaders and political appointees to support him by executing projects that complement his efforts. The Farmer governor said this on 14th August 2025, during a special interactive session with stakeholders of each federal constituencies in Niger North Senetorial District. Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security Dr. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi praised Bago’s leadership and announced plans for more agricultural policies in the country. Niger North stakeholders endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Bago as the sole APC candidates for president and governorship in the 2027 general elections.
