Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has urged traditional institutions to strengthen their collaboration with the government to tackle insecurity in parts of the state. He expressed concern over the insecurity and urged them to take proactive measures to curb the menace. He Made the call on the 15th August 2025, when he paid homage on Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora. The Madawakin Kontagora, Alh. Aminu Ahmad, and the chairman council of Ulamas, Khalifa Sabiu Umar, commended Bago for his developmental strides and support for religious activities that promote peaceful coexistence.
