The National Economic Council (NEC) has unveiled the Renewed Hope Development Plan (2026-2030) to consolidate Nigeria’s reform agenda and actualise the $1 trillion economy targeted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. The plan, part of a 30-year development plan, aims to ensure inclusivity and accelerated growth, aligning Nigeria’s growth trajectory with the long-term goals of Nigeria Agenda 2050. Vice President Kashim Shettima who chaired the meeting emphasized the transition as critical to sustaining the country’s economic trajectory.
