The Palestinian flag was raised outside the official Palestinian embassy in Hammersmith, London, following the UK government’s decision to recognize Palestine as a state on 21 September.
The flag-raising ceremony was attended by crowds, who gathered to protest Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
Palestinian ambassador to the UK, Husam Zomlot, emphasized the importance of the flag-raising as a defiant act of truth and refusal to let genocide be the final word.
