Niger state government has approved comprehensive free medical care for the surviving victims of the Essa tanker explosion.

The state government has provided drugs and medical supplies worth over N10 million to support hospitals treating the victims and presented cash donations to affected families.

The state government also commended the management of the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Bida for their swift response and professional support.

A mass burial for the deceased victims was conducted in Katcha, and the state government reaffirmed its commitment to safety and well-being.

It also urged the federal government to expedite action in fixing all federal roads in the state to avoid recurrence.
