Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has sworn in 30 commissioners, 25 elected council chairmen, and vice chairmen, as well as various board members, during a ceremony at the Government House in Minna.
The Chief Judge, represented by Justice Maimuna Abubakar, administered the oaths.
Bago emphasized the selection of appointees based on their track records and urged them to contribute to the New Niger agenda, aiming for a sustainable and egalitarian state.
The Secretary to the State Government, Alh. Abubakar Usman, further encouraged the new officials to commit to their duties, stressing the importance of unity in achieving the agenda, and mentioned an upcoming retreat to align on shared goals.
Newly appointed officials expressed gratitude and commitment to serve.
