Victor Boniface, Ola Aina, Francis Uzoho, and Kelechi Iheanacho have been included in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), announced by Head Coach Eric Chelle.
The 54-man squad includes key players like Captain William Troost-Ekong and Victor Osimhen, with a breakdown of six goalkeepers, 13 defenders, 12 midfielders, and 23 forwards.
Notable inclusions are Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and four players from the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The final 28-man list will be revealed by December 11, ahead of the tournament in Morocco starting December 21, with Nigeria grouped with Tanzania, Uganda, and Tunisia, and beginning camp in Egypt on December 10.
