Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has appointed the world’s first AI-generated government minister, “Diella,” to oversee public tenders.
Diella, an AI-powered virtual assistant, will be responsible for all decisions on public tenders, ensuring they are “100% corruption-free” and transparent.
Launched in January, it has helped issue 36,600 digital documents and provided nearly 1,000 services through the official e-Albania platform.
Rama’s new cabinet is due to be presented to lawmakers in the coming days.
