Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago announced plans for collaboration with the National Biosafety Management Agency, particularly in agriculture, aligning with his New Niger Agenda.

This announcement followed a visit from stakeholders in Tafa expressing gratitude for the appointment of Barrister Bello Bawa Bwari as Director General of the Agency.

Governor Bago praised Bawa Bwari as a supportive friend and an ambassador for Niger State.

He highlighted Tafa’s strategic importance, with plans for infrastructure development such as an alternate airport and dry port.

Other stakeholders reinforced their appreciation for the Governor’s efforts and Bawa Bwari’s new role, which he vowed to fulfill with pride while urging unity among Nigerlites to support the Governor’s vision for the state.
