President Bola Tinubu has replaced General Christopher Musa as Chief of Defence Staff with General Olufemi Oluyede.
He has also appointed Major-General W. Shaibu as Chief of Army Staff, Air Vice Marshall S.K. Aneke as Chief of Air Staff, and Rear Admiral I. Abbas as Chief of Naval Staff. Chief of Defence Intelligence Major-General E.A.P Undiendeye remains in his position.
The move is part of the Federal Government’s efforts to strengthen the national security architecture.
