Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has committed to maintaining gender inclusivity in his administration, emphasizing the importance of women’s participation in democracy.
This was stated during an interview following the reception of 25 women chairmen-elect at the government house in Minna.
Bago noted that women’s involvement is critical for sustaining democratic processes and encouraged these leaders to collaborate with their male counterparts to foster development in their local government areas.
