No fewer than 50 pupils from St. Mary’s Private Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools in Niger State have escaped after being abducted by suspected terrorists, with the attack leading to the kidnapping of 303 students.
Rev. Bulus Yohanna, the school’s proprietor, confirmed the escape and the ongoing efforts to ensure the safe return of the remaining 253 individuals still in captivity.
He emphasized collaboration with security agencies and community leaders to aid in the rescue, urging the public to remain calm and pray for the abductees’ safe return.
